It was such a heavy downpour, the sky was pregnant
Ready to be delivered off its heavy load,
Buckets, was what fell out of the skies in torrents, on this day, they say `cats and dogs´ too, whatever…it r-r-r-r-rained like it was going to be the last on earth
It all happened so fast that no one had a chance to protect themselves or to take proper cover
The weather grew gloomy and dark so fast despite the fact that it was so sunny and clear just minutes earlier
So sinister was this strange happening, as I got drenched and soaked to the skin, the tears dropped one after the other, suddenly I could not prevent them as they poured from my already half closed eyes down my face,
i was now struggling to see through the rain water, this of course added to my discomfort of not knowing how to make my way to the nearest shelter...........
I could see nothing so I just stood there in the middle of the street all alone.
It looked as if even the heavens felt my pain and knew about the sudden crisis and how hurt and confused my heavy heart was that they cried deeply for and with me.
Heaven squeezed and emptied out every drop of water within it’s cloud pockets that day, the storm continued for quite a while then…………
sudden calm and bright clear skies, dazzling in glorious majesty, the sun crept out and shone from behind the clouds that it had hidden, for cover.
Its rays strolling playfully on the wet leaves, gave off a fresh look of new birth and rejuvenation,
The puddles that had beautifully gathered on various patches of the ground rippled and reflected beautiful rainbow colors
Suddenly I noticed it in a nearby field a distance away, clear and distinct, a rainbow!
I marveled at this manifestation and the miracle within the occurrence
Suddenly I got a confirmation of the message that I had been ignoring and doubting for a while
“Fear not, I am with thee, my Rod and staff comfort thee,I am with you in this and shall deliver you to that glorious and victorious end in my name have I sworn it”
So i say, THANKS LORD!
