Different take on the topic. A little choppy to me, but I understand your frustration.

First up, I'm sorry to hear you've been through this and I can only imagine how distressing this must have been. The way the piece was wtitten with short sentences and short paragraphs conveyed a sense of shock to me.

I had to laugh, however, about the dog's "leavings", but the way you used that comic moment to make a profound point about obedience was genius. Great writing!
I liked the manner you used to convey your frustration, but I liked even more your description of how you placed your trust in One who is trustworthy.

I thought this story flowed well. I could feel your utter frustration, and can relate to it. Well placed humor goes along ways.
