I love everything about this story--most especially your narrator's witty voice. Lots and lots of charm here.
Super cute! I enjoyed this piece from beginning to end. Your detail really brought the story to life. I loved her prayer, her husband hollering out her name, his finding her in the closet, and his walking away mumbling to himself. The last paragraph ended this piece perfectly. Great job!
Love the voice of this especially, and the final paragraph. You definitely made me smile! I love how you wove the lesson in without it being a distraction to the story itself.
Definately a Master's story. Great job, I am glad to see you and god working it out.
Have you been spying on me? ;0) This is such a fun story. Well written, too. Love the ending as well. Great job!
I enjoyed this very much. The humour gave the right touch to what was a vexing experience. The ending was great as you finally succumbed to God's plan for you.
I had a feeling this was yours! What a treat and what a hoot!

What a visual of our hearts - always in the escape mode from 'volunteering.' teehee ;)

I sooo loved it Lynda.

Do dust bunnies bite? Ha! I had such fun reading this story! Well done. Blessings, Cheri
very good and unfortunately easy to relate to. I sometimes want to hide from the Melindas, too. Thanks for sharing this
Lynda, I love your humor. Actually, Sharon was probably cramped the most because there were so many of us with her in the closet!
A "Melinda" just tracked me down in a coffee shop last week and I've been praying for direction since...
Blessings on your pen. Your daughter's heart is so delightful and comes through every stroke.
this puts a whole new twist of coming out of the closet. Sorry, bad pun there--I really did enjoy this peice though. Thank you for sharing.
