Awww! ( wondered if this would be about those missions kids you sponsor, but this turned out even better! I know that when we step out of our own pain to attend to someone else, that pain subsides. I had two rescue kitties who are gone now, but they had long, happy lives.

I was curious and had to keep reading. You did a good job at having us guessing for a while. I like how you worded the lovely ending.
Just wow! What a sweet story. You got me, and then you held on!

Awwwwwww!
I have such a love for "fur babies" and this story touched my heart and made me tear up.
Thank God for those who care for God's creatures, and yes, they provide endless love for those of us who care for them!
Amen,
Blessings to you and Dynamite!

I also thought it was going to be about sponsoring a child in another country. You did a good job of describing your pain as well as the contrast in your situation and Dynamite's.

I also have fur-babies that have been instrumental in improving the mental health of our family.
I totally agree that God places furry little critters to help us climb up to where he needs us to be. My animals have literally (and I really mean literally) saved my life--waking me when I stopped breathing and some other ways too. I've no doubt God placed them in my life for times like those. Congratulations on ranking 11th overall. Happy Dance!
