Great poem. Flawless ( I think) in terms of rhythm and rhyme, and beautifully crafted. I love the message you drew from this verse. Good job - I hope this does well.
Lovely. I never think of His face as peaceful during the crucifixion and as He bears the brunt of the humiliation etc. And yet you have a point......
I really relish poetry well done, and this is! My favorite lines:

"True Peace is not the gentle fruit
of meditative flight
but is the wine Obedience pours
into the darkest night."

You caught the essence of true peace, I think!
"...No, happiness is not the same
as deep abiding Peace.
Oft times while groaning in the pain
our hearts still find release..."

How true this is! And how beautifully you write it! Another winner in my book.
Perfect! Beautiful! Sweet.

Precious words for the suffering of our Saviour. Loving words for thankfulness to our Peace bearer.

I never thought of a look of peace on His face during that time, either. Powerful message here. This poem flows nicely. Beautiful.
Great job! Your wording flows beautifully. I would suggest grouping the lines (combining the broken-up ones) so that each stanza is 4 lines. It looks like it's going to be free verse, but it's not. Otherwise, this is a beautiful poem!
This was fantastic Linda, and deserves its own place of merit in this week's entries.
